Professional Associations
Membership of a relevant industry professional association or society demonstrates your commitment to professional standards and ethics and current industry knowledge.
Upon successful completion of your degree program, you can seek full or associate membership with a number of professional bodies or societies.
Graduates from all of the undergraduate and postgraduate (coursework) programs offered by the School of Computer and Information Science meet all the necessary academic requirements for membership with the Australian Computer Society (ACS). Please refer to the program homepage on the UniSA Corporate Website to check if your program is accredited.
Additionally double degree graduates are able to seek professional recognition from the relevant industry body as follows:
- Bachelor of Computer and Information Science/Commercial Law graduates may take up associate membership of the Law Society of South Australia.
- Bachelor of Information Technology (Computing and Multimedia) graduates are able to join the Australian Interactive Media Industry Association (AIMIA).
