CIS 'rolls-up' to Alice Springs Show

A first off visit to the Alice Springs Show has spawned strong interest in the School and its programs.

CIS attended the two day event, held July 4 - 5, with many visitors taking time out to try the AR Medical Quake Demonstration and enquire about our range of programs and study options.

CIS Lecturer Dr Grant Wigley (pictured) commented on the positive experience from locals as to the visit.

"We had a great number of enquiries regarding our programs and career opportunities in IT. It was also great to have the AR demo to showcase as well which proved a popular drawcard for the youngsters and their parents," he said.

The next rural port of call for CIS will be at the Riverland Field Day in September where the School will again be in the spotlight.

Students and teachers from local secondary schools are also set to benefit from participation in our 'Regional Roadshows' featuring a host of interactive demonstrations and presentations from academic staff during the visit.
