Rewarding Industry Alliance Program Membership
Membership is open to all industry participants and it’s easy to reap the rewards.
Every interaction with the School or it’s associated Advanced Computing Research Centre (ACRC) qualifies the member to earn points in the IAP’s unique loyalty scheme – Alliance Points.
Alliance Points has three distinct levels. Progression through the levels is dependent on the level of interaction with the School or ACRC over a twelve-month period. The Alliance Points scheme permits the member to redeem their points through reduced cost for services offered by the School.
Partners are recognised and rewarded with Alliance Points in the following ways:
- Contracting the School to undertake research - One (1) Alliance Point per dollar (exclusive of GST).
- Contracting the School to undertake consultancy or short courses - One (1) Alliance Point per dollar (exclusive of GST).
- Delivering a guest lecture presentation to students and/or staff in the School - 2,000 Alliance Points per occasion.
- Providing at no cost, goods and/or services, or donations to the School - 5 Alliance Points per dollar based on an agreed total dollar value.
- Student prizes, scholarships and awards - One (1) Alliance Point per dollar based on an agreed total dollar value.
- Student sponsorship - One (1) Alliance Point per dollar (exclusive of GST), for the proportion of the sponsorship that is applied to the benefit of students in the School.

- Attendance at a meeting of the School Advisory Board or Industry Alliance Program Advisory Committee, or sub-committee of either body - 1,000 Alliance Points per meeting
